This is a tale that truly shows the depth's of a mother's love--and a grandmother's.
After 28-year-old Kelley McKissack had struggled with years of miscarriages and infertility, she and her husband decided to look into surrogacy. That's when McKissack's mom, 54-year-old Tracey Thompson, 54, offered to carry a baby for her daughter. And when Thompson later gave birth to a 6-pound, 11-ounce baby girl names Kelcey, she was actually giving birth to her very own granddaughter--committing one of the most generous acts of kindness we've ever heard.

I'd do this for my son and daughter in law if that's what it took to help them have a family!!
Doctors at the family's Plano, Texas hospital are calling the baby, who McKissack named Kelcey, a "miracle," not least of all because Thompson was seven years post-menopause. Using state-of-the-art reproductive technology, doctors were able to implant the embryo into her womb--and nine months later, Kelcey is finally here.
"My lovely mum gave me the best gift I could ever have in my life," McKissack told reporters.
