Imagine being sound asleep and then waking up to find a cute, but unusual critter curled up on you. That's what happened to a 99-year-old woman in Miami, FL, who was startled awake by the feeling of something heavy pressing down on her.
When she opened her eyes, she freaked out to find a big, furry animal snoozing on her chest. The animal also got alarmed and scurried up to the attic. In the morning, the old woman called a neighbor, who brought her son to lure the animal into a cage.
What was it? A kinkajou, a raccoon-like creature that lives in the rainforests in South America, hanging from trees by its powerful tail. Apparently, people keep them as pets.

The kinkajou was taken to a local animal hospital, and after this story hit the local news, its owner came by to take it home.
A happy ending for sure!
