Watch All Your Favorite Disney Movies With Disney Plus

Tags:

Disney Plus has finally arrived! The new streaming service will allow you to watch everything Disney, from classic animated films like The Lion King to current Marvel films, all from your TV screen, laptop, smart phone, or tablet — but most importantly, from the comfort of your own couch, popcorn in hand.

The streaming service launched yesterday with an all-star $6.99 a month price tag and a large library that may give Netflix a run for its money. If you want to bundle it with Hulu and ESPN, it’s $12.99 a month. With a subscription, you’ll have access to more than 600 titles, with more and newer content coming next year.

If you’re the nostalgic type like myself, this is a great way to get all of the classics you love, along with some current favorites. Think: The original 1977 Star Wars, Pocahontas, The Little Mermaid, all of the Marvel movies within the MC Universe, Lizzie McGuire, and reboots like Girl Meets World. If you’re a Disney Channel fan or have kids that are, you’re in luck because Disney Plus also offers the classics from Cheetah Girls to Wizards of Waverly Place, among newer titles.

You may have been anticipating the launch of Disney Plus since it was first announced, or just wished for a place to have all of your Disney favorites in one spot to watch as you pleased. But if all these options feel a bit overwhelming and you have no idea where to begin, I’ve got you covered. The best place to start is with the classics. What’s a better way to break in your new streaming service than starting with what you know and love? Sleeping Beauty, anyone?

If you’re more of a Marvel person, there’s plenty for you, too. But know that Thor: Ragnarok, Ant-Man, Black Panther, Avengers: Infinity War, Spider-Man: Homecoming and Spider-Man Far From Home are not on Disney Plus just yet due to some existing contracts floating around that need to expire. You’ll just have to catch them on Netflix before the end of this year.

Other than that, stream until your heart’s content and share your favorites with your family and loved ones.
