We've heard of "Bring Your Kids" to work day, but this is an all-new take: It's "Bring Your Grandparents to Work Day," and family man Prince William has decided to participate!
Actually, not really: The real reason that helicopter pilot Prince William welcomed his grandparents Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip to his base in Cambridge is that her majesty was on hand to formally open the East Anglian Air Ambulance charity's new operating base, the Egerton-Smith Centre, which is located at Cambridge Airport. Prince William just happened to be on-base--returning from a mission just 20 minutes earlier--when the duo arrived.
The photos from their brief visit are so heartwarming and look just like any typical family visit. William showed his grandparents around the crew room where he and his colleagues rest and prepare for their flights, and then took them outside to view one of the two HC145 helicopters that the East Anglian Air Ambulance charity runs from the base.

There were also some sweet hugs captured by photographers.
We just love when Prince William behaves like the good grandson that he is--almost as much as we love when the Queen gives him a little good-natured scolding.
