Getting into college is always a reason to cheer, but for Pennsylvania high school student Rachel Grace, it's a moment even thousands of strangers are finding awe-inspiring.
That's because Grace has Down syndrome, so she was never sure if a continued education was in her future. While applying, she had considered four special needs schools, but said she liked the idea of moving out and being independent, according to WTXF.
That's what makes the shocking moment when she opens her acceptance letter to East Stroudsburg University so utterly heartwarming. Her mom caught the whole thing on tape, and the uplifting video has gone viral, with thousands of strangers cheering her own for this inspiring accomplishment.
