Ask any performer worth his or her salt, and the response will be universal: The show must ALWAYS, always go on. Nothing can stop it: Not an acting mistake, not an unruly audience member, nothing. Not even... hiccups.
That's the lesson proven by a 7-year-old boy from Australia named Ethan Hall, who was slated to sing the country's national anthem at a baseball match-up between Adelaide and Brisbane last week. Unfortunately for Ethan, he got a whopping case of the hiccups right during the song. But fortunately for us, he never gave up on his singing--and of course, the entire hilarious performance was captured on video.
And when this brave boy finally finishes the song, wait until you see the crowd's tremendous reaction!
