The young boy shown in this death-defying situation--being face-to-face with a huge polar bear--has made a dangerous choice. Or has he?
Turns out, the boy is swimming in a special swim-up tank that allows visitors to be just inches away from these super-smart animals, all while safely behind bulletproof glass. The unique tank is found at the Cochrane Polar Bear Habitat in Ontario, Canada, the world's only captive bear sanctuary dedicated solely to polar bears.
