Doing a car makeover on your own may seem intimidating and expensive at first. But as one couple demonstrated on Reddit, it doesn't have to be either of those things.
Reddit user autounity and his girlfriend started off with a 1999 Corolla, which was given to them by friends. The car ran well and had surprisingly low miles on it considering its year. So it's totally understandable why they might have been tempted to get it professionally painted or redecorated. But instead, they were up for the challenge of doing a car makeover right in the driveway on their own.
