Would Christmas really be Christmas without the classic Peanuts gang? Join the lovable Charlie Brown, his blanket-toting friend Linus, the oh-so-sassy Lucy, and piano virtuoso Schroeder for the very first Peanuts film adaptation, A Charlie Brown Christmas, on November 30. According to an ABC press release, the hour-long special will air at 8 p.m. on ABC and will feature a series of Christmas-themed stories titled “Charlie Brown Christmas Tales,” during which each Peanuts character will star in his or her very own charming animated short.
In the digitally remastered classic A Charlie Brown Christmas, Charlie is disappointed by how materialized Christmas has become. In hopes of knocking materialism down a notch, Lucy nominates Charlie to be the director of the school Christmas pageant. But, when restoring everyone's holiday spirit with a bare fir Christmas tree, Charlie needs Linus' help to learn the real meaning of Christmas.

If you're unable to catch the showing on November 30, you can stream A Charlie Brown Christmas on Amazon Video anytime you'd like. And, if you're still craving some Peanuts fun, kick off the holiday season with I Want a Dog for Christmas, Charlie Brown on Saturday, December 16, at 8 p.m. on ABC.
The Peanuts gang's festivities don't stop there. Watch the kids get together to ring in 1986 (while Charlie struggles to finish a book report for school before midnight) in Happy New Year, Charlie Brown followed by She's a Good Skate, Charlie Brown — where Snoopy acts as Peppermint Patty's ice skating coach before the big ice skating competition — on Tuesday, December 26, at 8 p.m. on ABC.
