She Took Her Son to Visit Her Late Father’s Grave. Then, He Did the Unthinkable By It
It was her 35th birthday, but mom Elizabeth Swain found herself missing her beloved late father. Even though it was supposed to be a joyous day, she felt compelled to visit his grave at the cemetery.
She decided to bring her young son along with her.
Since her dad had passed away almost 9 years before her son was even born, he had only seen photos of him. And he had only been to the cemetery with her once before. But still, she felt that it was important.
That’s why she was shocked to see her son get a pair of binoculars out and start waving toward the sky, not even looking at the grave.
So she asked him what he was doing.
And he said, “I’m waving to pap pap. Mommy, he’s watching us right now.”

Elizabeth explained in a viral Love What Matters post why she was ever so grateful to have captured this on camera.
She wrote, “It was the most special moment I’ve ever had with my son. I’ve looked at the picture over and over and just cry.”
Beautiful!
