Country Star Jason Aldean and Wife Are Expecting Their First Child Together

Tags:

A big congratulations is in order for singer Jason Aldean and his wife Brittany Kerr Aldean.

The father-of-two is about to become a father-of-three! This will be Brittany’s first child; Jason has two daughters, Kendyl and Keeley, with his first wife, Jessica Ussery.

Both Jason and Brittany shared the news on their Instagram accounts. In Jason’s post, the singer is sitting on the kitchen floor while his wife sits on top of the counter next to him. Beside them is a literal bun in the oven—too funny!

“Been hard to keep this secret but we couldn’t be happier to add to our family. This year just gets better and better. #bunintheoven👶🏼” Jason wrote.

Brittany’s post is a lovey-dovey picture of the two wearing matching “Baby Mama” and “Baby Daddy” shirts. In the background, you can see pink and blue balloons on the bed, so it looks like the couple either doesn’t know the baby’s gender or they’ve decided to keep it secret.

“SURPRISE!!! WE ARE PREGNANT!!! This was the hardest secret we’ve ever had to keep 🙈 This journey for us has been full of many happy times & also many tears… The biggest rollercoaster we have ever been on, without a doubt! All of the moments of heartache were followed by the biggest blessing in the entire world!! We will never take one moment for granted & can’t wait to meet you, sweet baby!!! 👶🏼💛” Brittany captioned the photo.

Jason, 40, and Brittany, 28, got engaged on September 24, 2014. They tied the knot almost six months later on March 21, 2015. Some might recognize Brittany from her American Idol audition.

Because the two have been married for more than two years now, fans have wondered when they would start having kids. In an earlier interview with Caroline Hobby, Brittany said, “I would love babies. If God would bless me with some I would totally be happy about it….I want a boy and a girl.” There’s no word yet on the baby’s gender, but the Aldeans have been clear that they will raise their kids without the help of nannies.

We’re wishing the growing family all the best! Babies are such a blessing.
