Craig and Kathi Juntunen lived a life of professional success, a beautiful home, and relaxing retirement. But little did they know, they were about to get another amazing addition to their lives.
They had decided not to have kids so they wouldn't be distracted from work, but their minds—and lives—changed after a trip to Haiti. While they were there, they visited an orphanage and met three young siblings, Quinn, Amelec and Espie.
"When I was in the midst of that orphanage, and even walking away from that orphanage, there was this voice saying 'do something,'" Craig said. "Obviously 'something' was to adopt one or two, or in our case, three of these children."
That was 10 years ago. Today, all the kids are excelling in their respective talents—Amelec in sports, Quinn in music, and Espie in designing—thanks to their adoptive parents and the gift of opportunity. And they are incredibly grateful.

"I like my parents because [of] how supportive and joyful they are and helpful they can be to me, and their loving soul and heart," Quinn said.
As for the parents, they couldn't be happier about the decision they made.
"I believe we are exactly where we belong," Kathi said. "Everything in my past, in Craig's past, and even our children's past was shaped for where we are right now."
