Fiancés Andy and Sharon Price wanted to recreate the famous "lift" in the final dance scene from Dirty Dancing for their wedding. But when they practiced it, the U.K. couple ended up on the dirt instead.

It didn't help that this practice had been one that was totally spur of the moment.
"There was no build up, no warm up and that was it," Andy said. "I think I knocked myself out hitting the floor as hard as I did. I wasn't too aware of what was going on after that."
Sharon was similarly unaware.

She said, "I can remember running towards Andy and then the next thing just struggling for breath and my back was hurting."
Since Andy was going in and out of consciousness and Sharon was having trouble with breathing, witnesses called an ambulance, which transported them to a nearby hospital.
"I was concussed," Andy said. "I was out. I ended up in a neck brace and had to have a CT scan."
Thankfully, the couple was discharged from the hospital just six hours later. And understandably, they're now rethinking what their dance will be at the wedding.

"I don't think we'll have that one at the wedding, I think we'll go for a traditional slow one and I'll let Andy choose," Sharon said.
Sharon's reason behind wanting to do the Dirty Dancing lift was to "jazz it up a bit," since everyone else slow dances, and that the movie is one of her favorites. But we think she's wise for leaving the moves to Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey.
Besides, we're confident that Sharon and Andy will have the "time of their lives" without having to make another trip to the hospital!
