If you’re a Dolly Parton fan, this good news is for you!

Thanks to the success of her movies, including Coat of Many Colors and Christmas of Many Colors: Circle of Love, a whole new story about the country legend’s life will soon be available to viewers.

A press release from her team said: “This new story is very special to me. That is why during my first visit to the Great Smoky Mountains this year I will open a new show that celebrates my family before I was born. With the success of my family stories Coat of Many Colors and Christmas of Many Colors – Circle of Love over the last two years, I knew this was a story I wanted to tell and the theater in Pigeon Forge near the Island is the perfect venue.”

Unlike her previous movies, this new show takes place on stage. It will also focus on her “family before [she] was born,” whereas her first two films focused on Dolly Parton’s childhood in the Rocky Mountains of Tennessee. The production will debut this spring.

This new show replaces the Lumberjack Adventure Show, which opened in May 2016. The Lumberjack Adventure Show focused on two families in the Great Smoky Mountains during “a time when the first settlers to the area carved out a living in the rugged wilderness.” It was reportedly a $25 million investment for Parton, but there’s no word yet why it was replaced.

There’s no doubt Dolly Parton has a rich and wonderful life story, and we can’t wait for this show to start!
