One dad is getting lots of laughs after he posted a fake ad, listing his toddler for sale. "Priceless alarm clock....no...
"Priceless Alarm Clock," reads the ad, which was posted on the Liverpool Bargain Bay classifieds site by the exhausted father. "Breakfast? No problem, he will have you making toast at 5:35 a.m. to start your day on a nice full belly." Apparently, 1-year-old Archie leads his pop straight to the toaster each morning so that he can enjoy an early carb-fest before the sun comes up.
Davies says that while he's surprised by all the attention the ad received, he was pretty sure all along that people would take the whole thing in the joking spirit it was intended.
"People in Liverpool have a good sense of humor, so I was kind of hoping they'd take it that way," he told ABC News.
From the looks of things--the post received hundreds of Likes and has people all over social media (on both sides of the pond) responding good-naturedly--lots of parents can relate!
