What you’ll need:

64-oz. canning jar with a 3 ¼” lid

1 sheet each, green and white cardstock

Beacon Fabri-Tac glue

12″ (5/8″) green grosgrain ribbon

12 red and 1 gold (10 mm) flat-back gems

About 18” each of two red-and-white ribbons 1/2”-1 ½” wide Glue stick

6 (6mm) red flat-back gems

About 12” of green glittery cord

  1. Trace around the lid on green cardstock. Cut it out and glue it to the top. If your jar has a two-piece lid, glue the two sections together first. Glue the green ribbon around the lid’s edge, then glue the red gems around it, spaced evenly.
  2. Tie both red-and-white ribbons into bows. Make the loops and tails of one slightly smaller than the other; the larger bow should be about as wide as the lid. Glue the larger bow to the center of the lid, then glue the smaller one on top of it.
  3. Load your printer with white cardstock. Click here to download and print the tag and recipe. Cut out the pieces. Glue-stick the recipe to the back of the tag.
  4. Punch a hole in the top of the tag, thread the green cord through it then glue the gold gem on top. Tie the cord around the jar tightly enough to keep the tag from slipping down.
