When Kate Middleton walked down the aisle in 2011, 23 million Americans tuned in to watch the potential future King and Queen of England tie the knot. While most of us have never met the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, we couldn't help but smile as we watched Prince William and Kate start a new chapter in their heartwarming love story.
As she waved to the gathered crowd, a beaming Kate Middleton was an absolute vision in her lace, long-sleeved Alexander McQueen wedding dress. Even though sister Pippa Middleton momentarily stole the show in her own white gown, we'll always remember Kate's beautiful lace veil, and glittering tiara. Did you know it was Kate's "something borrowed"?

While Kate and the older royals were, unsurprisingly, dressed to the nines, it was the younger guests who also stole the audience's hearts. Remember Grace Van Cutsem, Kate Middleton's adorably unimpressed flower girl? She wasn't the only mini royal who took part in the big day. The entire bridal party, made up of a lot of close family friends, was a sight to see.
Of course we'll alway remember the iconic photos of Prince William and Kate waving from the balcony. Their ear-to-ear smiles and lovey-dovey smooch for the press only made us love them more. We know Princess Diana was looking down on her boy that day! Congrats again, Prince William and Kate!
