Pamela Silvestri's 6 year old, James, was looking forward to getting money in exchange for the pearly white that had been wobbling for days. But as he was eating a biscuit one night, that crucial piece of his smile suddenly went missing. James, presumably, had swallowed his tooth. While some kids might be freaked out by the thought of ingesting teeth, James had a more pressing worry: what motivation would the Tooth Fairy have to pay him now?
Luckily for James, his older brother had lost one of his teeth just hours earlier. And this helped James concoct a genius plan: he'd write a note to the Tooth Fairy, explaining where his lost tooth had gone, and put that letter under his sibling's pillow, along with his brother's tooth. Here's the letter, including what we imagine is an important illustration.
As James's mom explained, the kindhearted Tooth Fairy forked over the cash as the little boy had hoped. What a gal!
