While the world may not currently associate superheroes with little girls, Josie Butler of New Hamburg, MO, just may start to change that. The towheaded tot's bravery never waned once she started fighting a rare form of leukemia back in June 2013. Though the disease is blessedly in remission as of November 2015, the little girl still receives treatment to stay healthy.
That's why when her school held Superhero Day, Josie's costume was an easy one to create. All she added to her regular ensemble was a cape because she's already a superhero! "The best kind," Josie told her mom Alyssa Butler, according to KFVS12.com.
