Gina Grant, of County Donegal, Ireland, posted this quote on her Facebook page earlier in the summer: "When nothing goes right....go left."
It's a good mantra for this mom of six, who doesn't seem one to vent. But even she realized that the weekly shopping at the local grocery store with her 6-year-old son, Francis, was getting to be too much. Francis suffers from mitochondrial disease, a condition that affects all the cells in his body, leaving him confined to a wheelchair.

To shop with the boy, Grant has to lie him down in the shopping cart with the food she's buying, which stresses Francis out (understandably), or push him in his wheelchair while she juggles several baskets on each arm (which must stress her out).
So Grant finally complained to Dunnes Stores. How did the supermarket respond? It designed a special shopping cart for Francis--and then rolled out 155 more to its other branches all over Ireland.

Grant told the Irish Mirror that the supermarket's response was like "winning the lottery." She added, "I haven’t stopped smiling since. It was a pleasure to shop for once."
