One afternoon 21-year-old Godfrey Cuotto got on a crowded bus in Ontario, Canada. A special needs man walked up to him and shook his hand. Godfrey obliged, but the man didn't let go.
Originally, Godfrey was taken aback. “I thought I was getting pranked at first, but he just needed comfort," he told Huffington Post Canada.
He was exactly right. Robert, the special needs man, held Godfrey's hand and hugged him until the last stop. It's likely that Robert was feeling overwhelmed by the packed bus and just wanted to feel safe.
Although it may have been uncomfortable, “Sometimes you just have to be selfless and put someone else’s needs above yours," said Godfrey.
While talking to Kiss 92.5, Godfrey credited his kindness to his mother. He told them, "he was raised by a queen."
What a great guy, eh?
