Can You Find the Umbrella Among the Ostriches?

When it’s cold outside and the snow is piling up more quickly than we can say, “Happy New Year,” there’s nothing we love more than curling up by the fireplace with a nice cup of hot cocoa. But sometimes, when we’re trapped indoors for so long, it can get a little boring. After all, gazing outside is only exciting for us (and our loved ones) for so long.

Luckily, we have just the fun thing to keep us entertained for at least a little while on a brutally cold day: a new puzzle to solve! As you might know already, we’re pretty big on puzzles anytime during the year (when is it not a good time to do a little brain teasing?). But during the wintertime, these brain teasers hold a special place in our hearts.

You might remember how Lenstore.co.uk, a UK-based contact lens store, graciously provided us all a Christmas-themed puzzle during the holiday season (you can still find the Christmas pudding among the turkeys if you haven’t already!). Well, they have yet another puzzle for us that’s perfect to get our brain (and our eyes) looking sharp again after the beautiful blur that is the holiday.

This time, the lens store is challenging us to find the umbrella among the ostriches. Though this puzzle might seem easy at first glance, take one look at the illustration below and you’ll see it’s a lot more challenging than you might think!

Wow! Who knew it’d be so hard to find an umbrella in the midst of all those huge birds? We’re certainly glad we’re not outside actually searching for one of these handy tools. It’s so much easier to do it from within the comfort of our own homes — especially when there’s no place we have to be.
