Ever looked around at a group of people or a dinner table and couldn't believe the number of people on their electronic devices? We sure have.
A photographer named Eric Pickersgill had the same thought. "Family sitting next to me at Illium café in Troy, NY is so disconnected from one another. Not much talking. Father and two daughters have their own phones out," he said.
After this observation at a restaurant, he decided to create Removed.
Removed is a a series of photos showing what our life is like with technology, with a catch. The technology is missing.
The photos vary from two friends looking at their empty hands, to a bride and groom staring down at their imaginary devices.
