Prepare for Chills! A Famous Singer Joined the U.S. Army Chorus for an Amazing a Cappella Rendition of a Patriotic Song

This is the big week for giving thanks, and there are no better recipients for our universal gratitude than the men and women of the U.S. armed forces. That’s why this next clip has us completely blown away–and be prepared, it will send chills right down your spine.

The heartwarming video was taken at the Nationals Park in Washington, D.C. during the 2015 NHL Winter Classic (an outdoor hockey game). In the park’s tunnel, famed singer Lee Greenwood happened to bump into the U.S. Army Men’s Chorus, and moments later, the entire group broke into an impromptu a capella version of “God Bless the U.S.A.” The ensuing performance will both thrill you and humble you–just watch.

This, folks, is what we call pure, spur-of-the-moment magic. Spread it!
