Relaxation Drinks Are the Opposite of Energy Drinks, And We All Need Them

Tags:

We don’t know about you, but we’re tired of “Crazy busy!” being the default answer to the question, “How are you?” And apparently so is Tranquini. They’ve created the exact opposite of a Red Bull: a drink that actually helps you relax.

Tranquini offers three versions of their non-alcoholic drinks: their original sparkling drink, a still version, and a fruit and water option. These soothing beverages are all made with natural herbal remedies like green tea extract and lavender and comes in a variety of flavors, including green tea twist, ginger lemongrass, and mixed berries.

If you’re looking to take the edge off but you don’t want to get into a bottle of wine, a glass of Tranquini will help you shake off the anxiety of unanswered emails and finally reach your happy mood so you can drift off to la la land in no time. Plus you won’t “accidentally” have a few too many glasses and have to nurse a dreaded hangover the next morning.

But that doesn’t mean Tranquini was created to make you sleepy. The drink is designed to reduce anxiety and stress so that you can feel more relaxed during the day and fall asleep faster at night, free from worrisome thoughts that make it difficult to rest. Doesn’t that just sound dreamy?

In May of 2018, it was announced that grocery chain Meijer would start selling Tranquini in 26 of its stores. Tranquini is still relatively new to the US market, so if you’re having trouble finding it in stores, you can always buy it through Amazon ($6.87, Amazon). We’re hoping other companies take the hint and also create products that help us de-stress.
