When you first hold your little baby in your arms, you're so consumed with love (and maybe hormones) that you don't think much about that child's eventual development into a full-fledged adult who will leave the nest at some point. And you definitely don't think about how that sweet newborn may one day groan and roll her eyes over most things you do, even the ones you're SURE aren't groan-worthy. But then they do, and you long for the days when your kid worshipped your every move...or at least lived under your roof.
San Diego State University feels your pain, so they reminded last year's incoming freshmen just how big of a step starting their college experience is...for their parents.

No word on how many of the new students actually heeded the requests in this Facebook post. But we hope for their parents' sake that this reminder made them go easy on the moms and dads who inevitably had mixed emotions over college move-in day.
