Taco Bell french fries have been randomly showing up in select locations. So, we've been watching closely to see if they'll be releasing those cheesy spuds of goodness nationwide, and according to a recent tweet — tweeted out by the chain itself — it looks like Taco Bell french fries might be everywhere sooner rather than later.
Apparently, the french fry craze began with a tweet from Blink-182 bass player, Mark Hoppus. In said tweet, Hoppus praised Del Taco for having fries. And, Taco Bell being who it is couldn't help but to respond in their cheeky-sense-of-humor-way.

Taco Bell started testing Nacho Fries — which are just as glorious as they sound — and Crispy Chicken Chips at one of its locations in Irvine, California. The fries are available seasoned by themselves (Nacho Fries) or loaded with nacho cheese, sour cream, pico de gallo, and ground beef (Nacho Fries Supreme). The Chicken Chips, made to resemble a tortilla chip, are served with a side of nacho cheese for dipping. Customers can substitute the nacho cheese with any of Taco Bell's hot sauces. According to Food Beast, Nacho Fries have also been spotted in West Virginia.

For now, we'll just have to wait and see if those lucky customers in California and West Virginia love the spuds enough to make them go nationwide one day.
