We absolutely LOVE a good random act of kindness. This sweet, friendly deed made us feel all warm inside.
When David Perez saw his 75-year-old neighbor, Richard Dubiel, fixing his roof alone, he decided to help. He didn't grab a nail gun just yet, he did something even better.
Perez sent out a Facebook post, asking his friends and followers to come help him. The response was overwhelming. With over 1,000 shares he had 40 strangers show up on Saturday morning to help Dubiel.

He couldn't believe why these random strangers hopped up on his rooftop!
“I couldn’t believe it when this fella knocked on my door and said he was gonna help for free…what a gesture,” he said, "I'm just astounded."
He's used to just getting things done by himself. But he was grateful to have some new friends to help. Especially because what would have taken him days, only took the crew a few hours to finish.
"It restores your faith in humanity," Dubiel said.
