This week Disney released a new HD-version of its 1992 classic Aladdin. The animated flick, starring Robin Williams as the voice of the Genie, was a huge hit, both financially and at the Oscars. That year, the movie took home awards for the best score and best song (for "A Whole New World").
This new HD version features some out-takes--those would be the scenes in black and white--and they showcase Robin Williams at his ad-libbing best. They are all so hilarious it's hard to pick a favorite. But if we're forced to decide, then the riff on Jafar's "mask" is pretty great.
Glad to have you back, Robin Williams, even if it's just for a minute.
