We can’t get enough of it, but we would make one tweak: We would add bacon bits to the quiche filling and top it all with a crispy lattice made of the trendy breakfast food. Doing so gives you a bacon-studded slice that ensures a quality egg-to-bacon ratio in every forkful while the lattice, baked on the top, achieves the crispy texture you crave.
Before you dismiss this breakfast as too much work for a weekend morning, you should know that it calls for a pre-made pie crust. All you’ll have to do is prepare the custard and weave some bacon. We won’t tell if a couple slices disappear before the lattice is completed.
