Slow-Cooker Tangy Tomato Beef Roast

Beef sirloin is slow-cooked to tender perfection in an easy from-scratch barbecue sauce!

Ingredients

  • 1 can (15 oz.) no-salt-added tomato sauce
  • 1/4 c. apple cider vinegar
  • finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp. granulated no-calorie sweetener (1 1/2 packets)
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • optional
  • all visible fat discarded

Instructions

In slow cooker, combine tomato sauce, vinegar, onion, no­-calorie sweetener, paprika, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and cay­enne.

Add sirloin, mak­ing sure it is submerged in bar­becue sauce mix­ture. Cover and cook on low setting for 8 hours. Slice and serve with a drizzle of sauce.
