Kate Middleton Wears A Chic Skirt Suit Visiting a Children’s Hospital

Tags:

Kate Middleton isn’t shy of getting stuck into activities, especially when it involves the health and happiness of children. This week the royal visited the Evelina London Children’s Hospital, where she joined a creative workshop run by the National Portrait Gallery’s hospital program.

As a passionate advocate for children’s well-being, the Kate was in her natural element as she took part in various creative activities with children who are receiving care in the hospital.

Wearing a very fashion-forward Dolce & Gabbana tweed skirt suit, Kate was a fashion trendsetter of winter chic. Accessories-wise, Kate opted for a pair of black pumps and golden drop earrings. She finished the look with a pair of black tights.

Kate’s visit highlights the collaboration between Evelina and the National Portrait Gallery in London – the two companies have a program where artists deliver workshops to children being treated, with their siblings and parents also welcomed to join the fun.

The art program also runs in three other children’s hospitals in London. During her visit on Tuesday, Kate was also given the opportunity to showcase one of her lesser-known talents – photography.

She was seen showing guests and children some of her unique skills – something she’s honed for many years. At one point, Kate even went so far as to pose for a very special photo taken a young boy on a Polaroid camera.

According to PEOPLE, the boy, a 10-year-old heart patient named Luke, was proud as punch with his picture – we’re betting he’ll hold onto that for a lifetime!

Earlier this week, the Palace released two incredible photos taken by the Kate to mark the 75th anniversary of the end of the Holocaust. As seen in the beautiful snaps, Kate met and chatted to two holocaust survivors, Yvonne and Steven, and their families.”I wanted to make the portraits deeply personal to Yvonne and Steven,” she said in a statement.

“It was a true honor to have been asked to participate in this project and I hope in some way Yvonne and Steven’s memories will be kept alive as they pass the baton to the next generation,” Kate added. Just looking at the beautiful shots will tell you how talented the royal is at the art of photography!

Kate has a busy week ahead of her – she is set to attend the BAFTA awards this coming Sunday in London, where she and William will no doubt glam up for the star-studded event.

But we mightn’t necessarily see Kate Middleton in a brand new outfit for the occasion. In a refreshing first, the ceremony is actively working to reduce its environmental footprint and has enacted a new approach to make the awards as sustainable as possible. Not only in clothing but also in travel, food, and branding which is tied into the awards.

Bring it on Sunday evening!
