Little Girl’s First-Day-at-School Before and After Photos Has Internet in Stitches

Before they get too jaded, kids are jazzed for the first day of school. And who can blame them? We pump them up with snazzy new duds and supplies until they can hardly wait to walk out the door. And before they climb on the bus, we snap a shot to memorialize the momentous occasion.

But have you noticed there are hardly any “after” photos? Well, maybe there’s a good reason for that, as one Reddit user found out. When her little girl walked out the door in the morning, she looked like this:

And when she came back, she had a totally different expression on her face–not to mention that cute bow on her hair was missing.

Guess it was a long, long day.
