Husband of the Year Installs Laundry Room Countertop For His Wife, For Only $175

Tags:

Oh, the laundry room. Oft the most overlooked room in the house, we can’t think of another one that could use more TLC the most. But sometimes it can be hard to get motivated to do a laundry room makeover when there are so many other rooms that are seen more often by guests. One reddit user, grampadeal, knows exactly how you feel — and he’s here to help with some knockout laundry room inspo.

His wife had been repeatedly urging him to do something about the state of the washer and dryer in their laundry room. They were in desperate need of a real countertop, so they would stop piling things on top of the appliances with the risk of them falling between the cracks. So this amazing husband finally did some research and found he could do it all himself by using a non-board door slab as his counter, with support boards to boost it up over the washer and dryer.
