Princess Diana broke out her plaid Catherine Walker coat for trips to Japan, Scotland, and an English children's hospice. The duchess chose a plaid coat to visit a children's hospice in October 2016.

Like Diana, Kate is a fan of Superga sneakers. The late Princess famously wore them during her charity efforts in Angola in 1997, while Kate recently opted for a white pair while cheering on runners from the sidelines of the London marathon.

This isn't the fist time we've seen Kate mirror Diana's love of polka dots! Nonetheless, the Duchess undoubtedly nails the look once again.

Princess Diana donned the Cambridge Lover's Knot tiara, reportedly her favorite tiara, during a 1983 banquet in Auckland, New Zealand. The duchess wore the same headpiece to the Diplomatic Reception in December 2016.

Of course, Kate couldn't help but steal this look from Diana's style repertoire. Both ladies look truly stunning in all-over white lace!
