Biker Rescues Hurt Kitten, Then Does Something Amazing (and We’re So Glad He Had a Camera)

Pat Doody rides a motorcycle, works as a sheet metal worker, and is kind of, well, rugged. Suffice it to say, he’s not the first image that pops into your mind when you think of a gentle, snuggly animal lover.

But that’s just what this 32-year-old man proved he is–through some of the most adorable pics to ever hit the web.

When Doody came across a lost, injured kitten at a Nevada gas station while on a cross-country bike trip from California to New Jersey, he did two amazing things: gave the kitten a name (Party Cat!) and invited him along on the road trip.

“This little guy just needed help,” Doody told the motorcycle website Revzilla. “He was pretty badly burned, so I picked him up and tucked him inside my vest.”

The two began doing everything together: Riding, camping out in tents, even hitting a few bars along the way–all the while making plenty of friends. And best news of all? Party Cat, who was found with burns on his lips and fur, seems to be doing much better.

“We’ve been keeping it clean and using Neosporin,” Doody told Revzilla.

We just love stories with happy endings!
