Sharon Osbourne’s Weight Loss Transformation Was Incredible–And These New Pics Prove It

Sharon Osbourne has worn many hats in show business. From TV host to music manager to author, you can’t get more versatile than Sharon Osbourne. Weight loss was just one other task that Sharon Osbourne was ready to take on back in the 90s. And like her many other ventures, Sharon Osbourne’s weight loss was something everyone was talking about.

Of course, that doesn’t mean Sharon Osbourne’s weight loss was easy. Weight loss transformations are difficult for anyone, no matter how much money you have or how many resources are at your disposal. Celebrity weight loss brings its own complications, since you’re going through a very personal change in such a public space–Hollywood. But Sharon Osbourne wasn’t afraid to open up about it.

Sharon Osbourne admitted undergoing weight loss surgery in 1999. Though it wasn’t gastric bypass surgery, it was a lap band surgery, which helped her shed 125 pounds after the procedure. But she still wasn’t totally happy with the results.

She also said she didn’t like the way the lap band made her feel, so she had it removed in 2006. Moving forward, she decided to maintain a slim figure by following the Atkins diet and healthy lifestyle choices. Well, we couldn’t be prouder of her hard work–especially after seeing her recent photos that show off her weight loss.
