6 Total-Body Detox Tricks That Will Make You Look and Feel Gorgeous

These spa-inspired, total-body detox remedies will rid your body of the fluids and toxins that cause everything from a puffy face to dimply thighs. The result? A slim, beautiful you in a flash

Double chin? Reduce it with a matcha rub.

Matcha’s caffeine boosts circulation, and massaging it onto skin increases lymph flow. Mix it with amino acid-rich egg whites to tighten skin, and the jaw will appear firmer fast.

TRY IT! Mix 1 Tbs. of matcha powder, 1/2 Tbs. of water, and 1/2 Tbs. of egg whites. Rub along the jaw using gentle pressure while gliding hands down the neck three times; rinse after 15 minutes.

Puffy face? Shrink it with an iced tea compress.

Packed with anti-inflammatory compounds, black tea absorbs into skin to help release fluids that accumulate under eyes and around cheeks. Applying the tea cold, which constricts blood vessels to nix swelling, boosts the benefits!

TRY IT! Steep 2 bags of black tea in 1 cup of boiling water; chill. Soak a washcloth in the liquid and place on the whole face for 5 minutes; rinse.

Belly bloat? Banish it with a clay + grapefruit mask.

Clay acts like a magnet to pull out stomach-swelling toxins, while diuretic grapefruit oil flushes out bellybloating water retention for a trimmer tummy overall.

TRY IT! In a non-metal bowl, mix 1⁄2 cup of bentonite clay, like Ancient Earth Secrets Indian Bentonite Clay ($5.99, Vitamin Shoppe), 5 drops of grapefruit essential oil and 1/2 cup of water. Rub on belly; rinse after 15 minutes.

Cellulite? Smooth it with a dry-brush massage.

Brushing the skin stimulates the lymph system to eliminate fat-trapping toxins that make cellulite more apparent. Adding coconut oil (it plumps skin to fill in dimples) speeds the skin-smoothing results.

TRY IT! Apply 1/2 Tbs. of coconut oil onto legs, then brush with a dry brush, like EcoTools Dry Body Brush ($4.99, Ulta), in long, upward motions for 2 minutes.

Cankles? De-swell them with a mint + salt foot soak.

The mix of anti-inflammatory compounds and minerals in Epsom salts and peppermint essential oil reduces pooled fluids in ankles while also alleviating ankle-swelling aches.

TRY IT! Fill a basin with warm water, then add 1 cup of Epsom salts, like Up&Up Epsom Salts ($3.59, Target) and 5 drops of peppermint essential oil. Soak feet and ankles for 15 minutes; pat dry.

Sip your way to slimmer!
