Boy Performs the Australian National Anthem While Hiccupping, Is the Cutest Example of the Show Must Go On

Ask any performer worth his or her salt, and the response will be universal: The show must ALWAYS, always go on. Nothing can stop it: Not an acting mistake, not an unruly audience member, nothing. Not even… hiccups.

That’s the lesson proven by a 7-year-old boy from Australia named Ethan Hall, who was slated to sing the country’s national anthem at a baseball match-up between Adelaide and Brisbane last week. Unfortunately for Ethan, he got a whopping case of the hiccups right during the song. But fortunately for us, he never gave up on his singing–and of course, the entire hilarious performance was captured on video.

And when this brave boy finally finishes the song, wait until you see the crowd’s tremendous reaction!
