Turns out Urban, who’s in his home country for his ripCORD World Tour, wasn’t feeling quite so keen on jumping out of an airplane. Not that we blame him. But it’s Urban’s sassy reply to Underwood that has country fans laughing.
A fan sent in a question to Urban about Underwood’s experience, cleverly pulling lyrics the pair’s duet in the song “The Fighter”: “Where were you when Carrie went skydiving? I thought you said you wouldn’t let her fall?”
Thankfully, Urban quickly reassured the fan that he would never let Carrie fall.
Then he said, “Carrie asked me if I wanted to go. She texted me and I texted back, ‘I think I’ll just keep Ripcord as an album title.'”
