Congrats are in order for country singer Carrie Underwood! The 35-year-old announced in a surprise Instagram video that she and husband Mike Fisher are expecting again, and we can't wait to learn more about the couple's second child.
Underwood shared the news on August 8 in a video she sneakily captioned, "Ooh baby do we have a bundle of info to share with you!" In the clip, Underwood starts off with news about her upcoming Cry Pretty tour, which will kick off in May 2019. "You might be wondering or asking, 'Carrie, why is your tour starting in May?'" she says before the camera zooms out. Then, you see big silver balloons that spell out "Baby" above her head. "Mike and Isaiah and I are absolutely over the moon and excited to be adding another little fish to our pond."
"This has just been a dream come true with album and with baby news and all that stuff. We’re just so excited and just so glad you guys can share in this with us and be a part of this with us. Love you guys! We will see you on the road in 2019," she adds.
The Cry Pretty album is slated for a September 14 release. Shortly after that, Underwood will host the Country Music Awards in November, marking the 11th time she's emceed the event. After that, she'll get a bit of down time for maternity leave before hitting the road with support from singers Maddie & Tae and Runaway June. Tickets for the tour go on sale on August 17 at 10 a.m.
Underwood is already mother to a three-year-old son named Isaiah Michael, and we'd bet he's thrilled to be a big brother. After a scary fall in November 2017 that sent the songstress to the hospital for a broken wrist and required 40 to 50 stitches to her face, it's nice to see Underwood finally living life again. And with this baby news, we're so happy for her!
