Mom Chrissy Kelly avoided going out to eat with her sons with autism for a long time. Her little boys had a tendency to be difficult in restaurants.
But since they were getting older, it was getting easier. Or so she thought.
While out with Parker and Greyson, she realized in horror that both boys decided to be in "full-blown awful behavior mode" that evening.
Greyson was taking his shoes off and putting his dirty feet on the table. Parker was screaming the second she tried to get him to sit still. And as Chrissy wrote in a Love What Matters post, they were sitting "dangerously close" to two elderly women as this was all going on.
"We were quite a scene, and several times I noticed the women next to us looking over," she said. "As they got up to leave one woman leaned in to say something to me that I knew was going to ruin our evening."
But the older woman didn't.
She said, "Your boys are so beautiful. I sure would love to take one home with me."
