A proud father took a photo of his daughter's report card, and now it's going viral on social media — but not for the reason you might expect. You see, this report card was not the one that Sophie, a young girl with autism, received in class. Instead, it was the report card that her dedicated dad gave her after seeing her distraught reaction to the one she got in school.
Shane Jackson, who is the national president of the Pharmaceutical Society of Australia, took to Twitter to tell the heartwarming story behind his personalized report card for Sophie. He explained to his followers: "My daughter, who has ASD, received straight Ds on her report today. She cried and said, 'I’ve let everyone down.' This is my report card for her." Take a look at the full photo below, and you'll immediately understand why it already has more then 54,000 likes and more than 1,400 comments.

Jackson told WomansWorld.com that Sophie had a "beaming smile" when she first saw the new report card. But her excitement didn't end there. After her dad posted the report card to Twitter, she quickly learned about all the wonderful comments that people all around the world were sharing in response.
One Twitter user commented, "The University of Dad recognises individual talent in a way no school can. Lovely work, Shane."
Another commenter wrote, "Great idea! My son was devastated after getting his report today, so I'm going to do the same thing for him."
As for Jackson, he says the response to his post has been overwhelming.
"Sophie feels so supported by everyone in the Twitter world," he said.
As if the report card post wasn't beautiful enough, Jackson also created a new Twitter account honoring one of Sophie's favorite hobbies: her art. You can follow her lovely pictures, like the one below, on the page @SophieJ36713466, which already boasts more than 1,300 followers.
