Mom Tamzyn Rollinson was devastated when her third child turned out to be stillborn. She tearfully wrapped up the little girl’s body in a special blanket afterward. And to work through her grief, she wanted to find the same blanket she wrapped the stillborn baby in to put in a memory box.
But the heartbroken mother found out that the blanket was out of stock.
Mum couldn't find the blanket she wrapped stillborn baby in - then something lovely happened - Mirror Online: https://t.co/VvgSovZSCG— pops (@pops131) June 27, 2016
Desperate to find it after checking everywhere, Rollinson contacted the supplier, Tesco, on Facebook in a private message. She didn’t know what to expect.
But what she got was the loveliest surprise she could have asked for.
"Tesco employees managed to track one down for me this morning and the lovely staff at the Shoreham by Sea branch went out of their way to hand deliver me not only the beautiful blanket but a gorgeous bunch of flowers and a card too!” she wrote on Tesco’s Facebook page.
After all, Rollinson was just expecting an email as a response, rather than a personal and incredibly moving visitation.
So she was especially touched that the two employees had made a 16-mile trip to get to her house.
"They didn't have to do that at all," she said. "They really went out of their way for me."
