If you love Doritos as much as we do, you might want to put your chips down for this: Doritos is now hiring its "ultimate superfan." That's right, we now live in a world where it's actually possible to get paid for enjoying Doritos. Sounds like a dream come true to us!
Although this "nacho average" role is based in England, the perks just might be good enough to convince you to move across the pond. First off, this job offers the lucky fan a year's supply of our favorite tortilla chips. The "corn-oisseur" gets to be one of the first to taste this year's newest flavor — and also gets to play an active role in coming up with bold new ideas for the brand. And since this is a job, there's also money involved; the superfan gets a pretty impressive reward of £18,000 ($25,344) — without needing to quit his or her day job.
In order to be considered for the role, a candidate must have a minimum of two years of Doritos-eating experience, as well as "snack-alytical" skills. The applicant must also have a "high level of chip acumen" and the "ability to eat well under pressure." And no, we're not joking about any of this; you can read these requirements for yourself in the job description.
If you're feeling bold enough to brag to the world about your snacking skills and get paid to eat chips, you can fill out the online application form — and we'll keep our fingers crossed if you do! But if you're interested in applying, you'd better not waste too much time: Applications close on April 15.
