After a woman from England was baffled by an unopened, practically empty bottle of Diet Coke, Daily Mail reported that she actually lost out on some seriously big bucks by pouring it out. Apparently, the phenomenon happens when there is a factory error during production that causes the can to be filled with pressure, but no liquid. Instead of pouring out the meager amount from her can, the woman should have taken a look at eBay. Even though her can was a bit dented, it still could have potentially sold for a whole lot of cash. It just takes a quick scroll through the website to see avid collectors grabbing up these cans for as high as $25,000! Other brands like Pepsi and Dr. Pepper have also been listed, but none seem quite as popular or valuable as Coca Cola. The cans don’t even have to be super vintage to earn a pretty penny — any regular Coca Cola, Coke Zero, or Diet Coke can that’s empty without being opened are in the running.

It’s also easy to tell if you’ve grabbed one of these rare cans just by feeling how light they are in your hands. Many listings going for the highest price tags also provide images of the cans on scales to prove they are in fact missing their liquid.
