You’ll Never Guess How Dolly Parton Wants to Celebrate Her 75th Birthday

Hint: It will involve bunny ears...

Dolly Parton will always love being more than a little over the top. She’s not shy about her surgically-enhanced figure, which she regularly highlights with her bedazzled outfits. Good luck trying to get a glimpse of the singer without one of her iconic wigs. And even though she will be turning 75 on her next birthday (January 19), the country queen just revealed that she wants to celebrate it by putting everything on display in a notoriously racy magazine… again.

Parton shocked fans when she first appeared on the cover of Playboy back in 1978. Of course, she didn’t strip all the way down or bare much more than she does with skimpy outfits on stage. The magazine did ask for her to show a little more skin, but she kept things modest. “I wasn’t naked; all you saw was me in my bunny suit, with my boobs sticking out a little,” Parton explained in 2011. “I wouldn’t do a layout. I’m not that brave, nor do I look that good!”

In a more recent interview on March 8, the country queen admitted she wants to do the whole thing over again — in the very same bunny suit. Parton told 60 Minutes Australia, “I thought it would be such a hoot if they’ll go for it, I don’t know if they will.” We can’t imagine anyone turning her down, especially considering how amazing she still looks today!

Take a look at the video below to hear more from Parton about her birthday plans:

It probably won’t take too much convincing to have Parton back onto the cover — and we’ll definitely pick up a copy or two! After all, it’s not just about how great she’ll look posing in her bunny suit, but any new stories she’ll reveal in the interview, too.

In the meantime, you can read up on Parton’s exciting life stories, like the time she had to turn Elvis Presley down — or the heartwarming way she reacted to someone leaving a baby on her doorstep.
