Now that she’s in her third trimester, Joanna Gaines couldn’t be more ready to give birth to baby number 5, especially after her friends just threw her the most adorable baby shower ever. On June 10, the Fixer Upper star shared a few photos from the exciting event on her Instagram account, and fans were blown away by the party’s book-themed decor.
“I like big books and I cannot lie. Blown away by the creativity and thoughtfulness of my friends — just the cutest book shower ever for baby Gaines! Feelin’ the love… now I just need to figure out how to shove these books in my car so I can get them to the farm!” Gaines, 40, captioned a gallery of photos from her shower. After she shared the pics, one fan (who clearly loved the party’s theme) commented, “What a great idea! A book shower! Congratulations, Joanna!”

Earlier this year, Gaines posted on her blog that she loves expecting a baby, even though this pregnancy is her fifth. “Pregnancy has been so fun, in fact my two favorite things to do are take naps and eat,” she wrote.
She’s also revealed her pregnancy cravings with fans on Instagram. “Woke up this morning at 2:30 a.m. and was craving Fruity Pebbles, a pimento cheese sandwich, chicken spaghetti, deviled eggs, and ranch dressing. Didn’t have any of that so I made myself some cookies,” she captioned a social media photo.
The mom of four welcomed her last child eight years ago with her husband, Chip Gaines. Parents to kids Drake, 12, Ella, 11, Duke, 9, and Emmie, 7, the Fixer Upper couple will reportedly welcome their fifth child — a baby boy — in July. “Since I had our first four babies so close to one another, none of them actually remember me being pregnant,” she previously wrote on her blog. “They love my growing belly (and boy is it growing), and they cannot wait to meet him!”
