‘General Hospital’ Star Kirsten Storms Was ‘An Emotional Wreck’ Sending Harper to Preschool
Since their divorce, General Hospital stars Kirsten Storms (Maxie) and Brandon Barash (ex-Johnny) have been doing a fantastic job of co-parenting their four-year-old daughter, Harper Rose. However, the duo have reacted to some things differently — like the first day that Harper attended preschool where mom was just a little bit more emotional than dad.
“First day, I’m an emotional wreck,” Storms confessed to Soaps In Depth. “I’m holding her hand as she’s crossing the street with her backpack on, starting to flip. I look at Brandon and I’m like, ‘I can’t believe this!’ He just rolled his eyes.”
However, it sounds as though Harper is having an absolute blast at her new preschool, which came highly recommended by Storms’ General Hospital castmate and fellow mom Emme Rylan (Lulu), who is raising three kids of her own. “First three minutes, she’s in her underwear, in the baby pool, covered in mud,” Storms laughed. In fact, Harper’s school seems like it would be a whole lot of fun! “They have bearded dragons, live chickens, and Maria, a large tortoise — who we actually found out was a boy,” Storms reported. ‘The turtle just walks around freely. So do the chickens.”
As you can see from the video above, Harper is one fun-loving four-year-old, so it sounds like this is the perfect preschool for her. In fact, there are probably plenty of adults who would love to check it out as well!
