Flirty 96-Year-Old Woman Makes Prince William Blush After Asking for a Kiss

Tags:

Imagine being able to tell your friends you made the future king of England blush! Prince William found himself turning pink while on the receiving end of some adorable flirtation from a nursing home resident over the weekend.

While visiting Queen’s Bay lodge Care Home in Edinburgh, Scotland, William sat down to chat with 96-year-old Betty Magee. She apparently didn’t waste any time before telling William, “It’s customary in these parts to give a lady a kiss on the cheek.”

You might think William is used to such adoration at this point, but he responded, “Oh, you are sweet. You’ll make me blush!” He then promised that when the safety rules for social distancing are more relaxed, “I will come back and give you a kiss on the cheek, Betty.”

Judging by the rosy hue on William’s face in the video he shared below, she was quite the charmer! Take a look to see his reaction when one of the nursing home staffers jokingly asked the prince to “stop flirting with my residents.”

Magee definitely agrees with Prince William recently being crowned the World’s Sexiest Bald Man — and proves you’re never too old to have a little fun! In fact, she’s a bit older than William’s grandma, Queen Elizabeth, who turned 95 this year. We certainly hope we can be just as feisty when we’re pushing 100.

Aside from his antics at the nursing home, William gave a speech to the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland and discussed how important the country has always been to him — especially after the loss of his mother, Princess Diana.

“Scotland is the source of some of my happiest memories. But also, my saddest. I was at Balmoral when I was told my mother had died,” he said. “Still in shock, I found sanctuary in the service at Crathie Kirk that very morning. And in the dark days of grief that followed, I found comfort and solace in the Scottish outdoors. As a result, the connection I feel to Scotland will forever run deep.”

William then added, “Alongside this painful memory is one of great joy. Because it was here in Scotland — twenty years ago this year — that I first met Catherine. Needless to say, the town where you meet your future wife holds a very special place in your heart.” It’s no wonder he feels such strong attachment to Scotland with so many emotional moments and milestones.

Kate joined William today for the rest of the trip, so we probably won’t be hearing about any more amorous interactions with the public… Unless she finds a nice 90-something-year-old gentleman to even the score with!
